in unseren Gedanken sagen wir:

Danke für die Liebe und die Geduld.
Danke für die Arbeit und die Erinnerungen.
Danke für den Mut zu kämpfen.

Heute abend treffen wir uns im Chat,
um gemeinsam uns an Patrick zu erinnern.

A few weeks ago I found a poem which says pretty well how I feel today:

God knows you had to leave us
but you did not go alone
for part of us went with you
the day God took you home.
To some you are forgotten
to others just part of the past
but to us who loved and lost you
the memory will always last.

My heart goes out to Lisa, Don and the entire family at this difficult day.

It is a sad day and it is hard not to be overwhelmed by bitterness and grief.
But it is a happy day as well.
A day to celeberate that we have been lucky enough to have had him.
A day to celebrate the wonderful memories we all have.
A day to celebrate love and life. Love is what I will always associate with him.......love for Lisa, his family and also to us as fans. And he had shown us that life is worth fighting for, even against the worst sort of enemy.
So let's celebrate Patricks birthday, with tears, but with smiles and laughter as well.
