She went to the cancer specialist and for now, she doesn't need chemo!!

Can they use surgery instead? If so, this is a good thing. The mother of a friend of mine had surgery some years ago, she is cancer-free and doing well.
I keep fingers crossed for you and your family.

yeah, sometimes it is mystical what happen. I saw this documentation too and it was interesting, what Donny had to say. I think this was really that whith what we have to count from this channel. Elen,..auch Dir vielen Dank für die freundliche Begrüßung und dafür,..daß Ihr Euch die Mühe macht, zu übersetzen. Mein Englisch ist zwar nicht ganz so schlecht, aber ich kann mich in Deutsch besser ausdrücken. Eigentlich bin ich kein Dirty-Dancing oder Patrick oder Don Swayze-Fan, aber ich habe früher gern "Fackeln im Sturm" und später "Gefährliche Brandung" gesehen und finde schon, daß Patrick Swayze ein echt hübscher Mann war.Und er war sicherlich ein ganz liebenswerter, besonderer Mensch.In der Dokumentation hat man ja einiges über ihn erfahren und er kam auch so sehr sympathisch und liebenswert 'rüber.
Don Swayze kannte ich bisher noch gar nicht, aber auch er scheint ein toller Typ zu sein 
Sehr bewegend fand ich seine lieben Worte bzgl. seines "großen" Bruders.
Es ist so traurig, wenn ein Mensch im besten Alter so krank wird.
Krebs ist schlichtweg schlimm. Ich selbst habe meine Ma an Brustkrebs verloren und es war das schlimmste Erlebnis meines Lebens.

Elen, … thank you too for this friendly welcome and for that, … that you take care to translate it. My english is surely not so bad, but my german is much better. I’m not really a “Dirty Dancing”, Patrick or Don Swayze Fan, but I like to see “North and South” and later “Point Break” and I think, that Patrick looked very good. He was surely a very lovely and special man. In this documentation I could learn something about him and he looked friendly and lovely. 
I don’t know Don Swayze before, but it looks that he is a great guy 

It was very touching, how he was spoking about his “big” brother. 

It is so sad, if a human in the best age will be so sick. 

Cancer is really bad. For myself, I lost my Mum through breast cancer and it was the terrible moment in my live.

Ich bin ehrlich, das Beste an dieser Dokumentation waren die Interviews mit Donny, Lisa und natürlich Patrick. Alles was diese Möchtegern-Reporter da von sich gelassen haben, naja ... das könntest du im Forum nachlesen. Patrick hat ja auch sehr vieles mehr gedreht, als du diese paar Filme. Gestern wurden besonders die Szenen aus "One Last Dance" verwendet. Vielleicht hast du ja Lust dort ein bisschen mehr zu erfahren.

Zu Donny, er ist ein wirklich liebenswerter Mensch und es gibt eine Menge über ihn zu erfahren. Er ist genauso wie Patrick Schauspieler und ich finde sogar ein sehr guter. Du kannst uns hier gerne ausfragen. Und vielleicht magst dir mal die Beiträge um den 10.08. ansehen (eine Seite vor dieser hier) ich denke, das wird dir dann auch die Frage beantworten, ob Donny mal vorbeischaut.

Das mit deiner Mutter tut mir sehr leid, ich kann mir vorstellen wie schlimm das für dich war. Ich habe schon mehrere Menschen durch Krebs verloren. Darunter meinen Vater und meinen großen Bruder.

so you did something to show us, that Patrick runs on the radio channel.
I’m honest, for me was the best in this documentation the interviews with Donny, Lisa and Patrick. All what this would-be reporters said, hmmm … that you can read in the board. Patrick did much more as only a few movies. Yesterday they use very often scenes of “One Last Dance”. Maybe you like to learn more about him.
About Donny, he is a very special man and there is so much to learn about him. He is an actor like Patrick and I think he is a very good one. You can ask us so long as you want, and maybe you check the posting around the 10th August (one side before this one) I think, that will answer your question, if Donny come to this side.

I'm very sorry, to hear what happen to your mother. It must be very sad for you. I'm for myself lost several people of my family through cancer. So my father and my big brother.

NDR 2 spielt es sehr häufig,..ist ja auch ein schönes Stück...
Heike,..das mit dem Verlust Deines Vaters und Bruders tut mir leid....
Ich glaube, es gibt fast niemanden, der nicht schon aus dem Verwandten- oder Freundeskreis jemanden durch Krebs verloren hat....
Ist schon schlimm...

the team of this side, wish all of you a wonderful christmas time 2011. In Germany we have a nice tradition, our kids get an "Adventscalendar" we use it again here in our little community too. Everyone of you can use it too, the rules are very easy: 

Your click the picture with the 25 numbers, than a pdf-file will open in a new tab. There you use the Date-Number and click on the Donnys picture. You will find now a question in german and english. The answers you will find on the side or the board, maybe you know it directly. The answer you post here in the guestbook, you have 48 h times for every answer. Guest should be fill out the email-box.
